Mr. William Kallas, newly appointed Metropolis of Chicago Registrar

The Metropolis of Chicago expresses deepest appreciation to Mr. Constantine (Dean) Kartsimas who is now departing the Metropolis Staff for other professional opportunities. Mr. Kartsimas has served as the Metropolis Registrar since June, 2009, with great distinction while assisting Metropolitan IAKOVOS of Chicago and His Grace Bishop DEMETRIOS of Mokissos in their ministries throughout the Metropolis. Very grateful for his years of service, we pray for abundant blessings on him in this new phase of his professional career.

WELCOME...

The Metropolis of Chicago welcomes Mr. William A. Kallas, M. Div., to the position of Metropolis of Chicago Registrar beginning June 1, 2016. His responsibilities will include assisting His Eminence Metropolitan IAKOVOS Chicago and His Grace Bishop DEMETRIOS of Mokissos as they travel to various Metropolis parishes.

Mr. Kallas is a recent graduate (2016) of our Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, MA, preparing for service to the Holy Church. He was born in Munster, IN, to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kallas of Hammond, IN, and raised at the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Hammond, where he faithfully served in the Holy Altar from a young age.

William attended Manchester College in Indiana, graduating with a B.A in Political Science and Communications Studies in 2012.

His Eminence Metropolitan IAKOVOS and the entire Metropolis of Chicago staff welcome William as their newest member and pray his tenure will be one of abundant blessings.
