Extra, Extra! Chicago's Greeks in News Photographs is a stunning new coffee table book featuring over 150 news photographs from major Chicago newspapers spanning the decades from the onset of photography in newspapers from the 1930s-1990s. Compiled and edited by Gregory C. Pappas with a foreword by Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos, the collection spans the life of a vibrant, proud community, their parades and demonstrations, their faith and cultural traditions and their deep connections to their ancestral homeland. The book was published thanks to a generous grant by Chicago businessman Harold Anagnos.

The book is 11″ x 8.5″ in size. 150 pages. Soft cover. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefit the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago St. Iakovos Camp and Retreat Center.
