Before Lunch

[Everyone stands facing the holy icons]

Our Father, which art in the Heavens, hallowed be Thy Name.  Thy Kingdom come.  Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive us our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

[Now make the sign of the Cross together]

+ Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

[If a priest is present, he says the blessing]

After Lunch

We thank Thee, O Christ our God, that Thou has filled us with Thine earthly goods; deprive us not also of Thy Heavenly Kingdom, but as Thou camest in the midst of Thy disciples, O Savior, and gavest them peace, come also amongst us and save us.

+ Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Lord, have mercy.  Lord, have mercy.  Lord, have mercy.

[If a priest is present, he says the blessing after the meal]

+ Blessed is God Who hath mercy and nourisheth us from His abundant gifts, by His grace and love for man, always, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

[But if a priest is not present, say]

+ Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us. Amen

O Christ our God, bless the food and drink of The servants, for Thou art holy, always, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

[But if a priest is not present, say]

+ Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us. Amen.
