For Immediate Release

On December 14, the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago made the following statement:

“We are overjoyed by the news that an anonymous party has stepped forward

with an offer allowing Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Chicago to forego

today’s scheduled property auction. We are hopeful that this new development will

help pave the way for a brighter future for the Holy Trinity community. As this

process unfolds, we call on the faithful to remain prayerful and grateful to the Lord

for His abundant mercy.”
