The Strengthen Stewardship Now & Forever team of the Metropolis of Chicago offers a mix of presentation and questions for reflection, with a focus on practical application for parishes. Fr. Ciprian Streza is our special guest presenter for the June zoom meeting.

Fr. Ciprian Streza was born in Sibiu, Romania, to a priestly family – his father was a priest for more than 30 years. He completed two years of training in Romania before transferring to HC/HC where he completed his Masters of Divinity in May 2007. In June 2007, he was ordained to the Holy Priesthood by Metropolitan Nicholas and began his ministry as an assistant priest at Holy Trinity/St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Cincinnati, OH.

In June 2011, Fr. Ciprian was assigned to Archangel Gabriel GOC in Traverse City, MI, where he currently resides with Presbytera Sinziana Sarbu, an RN in the intensive care unit at Munson Hospital, and their family.

Archangel Gabriel was founded in 1999, but it would be 20 years before the parish would set the cornerstone of its new facility. It held the first Divine Liturgy in a new church edifice on March 1, 2020.
