The Strengthen Stewardship Now team of the Metropolis of Chicago offers a mix of presentation and questions for reflection, with a focus on practical application for parishes. Meredith McNabb of the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at IUPUI is our special guest presenter for the May meeting.

McNabb is the Associate Director for Educational Programming and an ordained clergy member in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church. From 2014 to 2019, she served as the Director of the Center for Clergy Excellence, overseeing clergy formation, continuing education and conference relationships for more than 1,600 clergy in Virginia. McNabb has also served as a pastor at Grace United Methodist Church in Manassas, VA. Early in her career, McNabb worked as an attorney, serving primarily low-income victims of domestic violence, on end-of-life planning and resourcing local nonprofit organizations.
