The class will cover the basics of Orthodox Christianity over a twelve-week period and will be taught by several instructors with graduate theological education. There is no cost and it’s a great way for everyone of any age (teenage and above) and background to learn about our Faith.

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe purpose of the Clergy-Laity Assembly is to bring together\, under the care of our hierarch\, Metropolitan Nathanael\, all ordained and lay leaders from within the Metropolis to discuss and decide important matters affecting the life\, growth\, and unity of the Church\, its ministries\, finances\, and philanthropic concerns. \nThe Assembly provides an environment in which our clergymen and lay representatives can come together in worship and fellowship to exchange knowledge and ideas\, share best practices and\, ultimately\, make informed decisions that benefit and further the mission of the Metropolis. \nThe theme of the 2023 Clergy-Laity/Philoptochos Assembly is:  Trust in God: “…God who began a good work in you will surely complete it…” (Phillipians 1:6). \n  \nLEARN MORE \nREGISTER \nREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY SEPT 11\, 2023.

SUMMARY:Divorce Rebuilders
DESCRIPTION:SS. Peter and Paul’s Divorce Rebuilders offers support\, guidance and hope to those who are separated and divorced. Meetings will begin this Fall starting on Monday\, October 16 through November 20\, 2023 \, 7-8:30 p.m. for six consecutive weeks in the church library. ZOOM will be available for those who cannot attend in person. This group provides a place where you can learn\, heal and rebuild from the hurt of divorce. New insights and perspectives will help you create new understandings towards developing new personal\, relational and spiritual goals in your life. Discussion\, feedback and support are integral components of this program. Time itself has been stripped of anything but its mechanical meaning. In this talk\, Sister Vassa suggests how we can redeem time\, our hours and days\, guided by the liturgical prayer life of the Orthodox tradition. By developing the practice of praying every weekday according to the hours of the day\, we can fill every hour and every day with faith based on meaning and purpose.
