SUMMARY:The Hagia Sophia: Past and Future
DESCRIPTION:The Hagia Sophia is one of the most beautiful and controversial pieces of architecture in human history. In this discussion\, we’ll explore the building’s 1\,500-year history. Ethnic and interreligious conflicts\, the importance of sacred spaces and the preservation of cultural heritage sights are some of the topics that will be included in this fascinating program. \nThis class is one of four Zoom offerings in NMH’s discussion series. We hope you can join us for one or more of these lively and engaging conversations! More information\, including registration links for all four classes\, can be found in the flyer link below.
