In an effort to meet the $250,000 fundraising goal of the COVID-19 Parish Relief Fund, and in the spirit of a unified Metropolis, the Metropolis Council recently voted to authorize a gift of up to $25,000 toward the Fund. Throughout August, the Metropolis of Chicago will match $1 for every $2 donated to the Fund.
The Metropolis of Chicago is deeply humbled by the gifts received to date, which total $179,530.18. If an additional $70,469.82 is raised, our goal will be met. If you have not yet made a gift, or if you would like to donate again, please take this opportunity to extend the impact of your gift and support our parishes hardest hit by the pandemic.
