SUMMARY:Be Attentive: Conversations on Vocational Discernment Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC) is pleased to announce that it will host the third “Be Attentive” retreat on its campus from October 11-13\, 2024. This retreat is designed for men from any Orthodox Christian jurisdiction who are considering a call to ordained ministry. The retreat offers a unique opportunity for participants to explore the priesthood in a structured and supportive environment. Attendees will engage in spiritual reflection\, receive guidance from experienced clergy\, and participate in discussions that provide deeper insight into the life and responsibilities of ordained ministry. HCHC invites priests\, parish communities and individuals to help spread the word about this important retreat. By supporting those who may be called to ordained ministry\, you are making a profound contribution to the future of the Church. Throughout the weekend\, participants will benefit from presentations offered by clergymen from various archdioceses\, Chapel services\, devotional experiences\, and conversations with attendees\, priests\, and current students. These activities are designed to help participants more clearly understand what a priest is\, what he does\, and how a call to ordained ministry may manifest in their lives.
