Pavlo will join us at 5:30pm for an informal meet and greet. \nConcert to follow from 7-9pm at Stagg High School Performing Arts Center.

SUMMARY:2024 Junior Olympics
DESCRIPTION:The Junior Olympics of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago dates back to 1981 and has grown into the largest single gathering youth in the Metropolis\, filled with family-friendly activities. From its inception\, the Junior Olympics has been hosted by SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church\, Palos Hills\, Illinois. The community not only organizes the event\, but also shares its facilities with the entire Metropolis to make the Junior Olympics possible. \nEach year\, thousands of parents\, young adults\, and children look forward to kicking off the Summer at this Memorial Day Weekend event in order to coach\, view\, and participate in the festivities. Olympic activities are offered for all age levels\, with competition in basketball\, swimming\, track and field\, softball\, volleyball\, soccer\, chess\, checkers\, backgammon (tavli)\, ping-pong\, & much more. The Junior Olympics aims to live its mission\, which is rooted in St. Paul’s Second Letter to Timothy: “…If anyone competes as an athlete\, they do not win the prize unless they compete according to the rules. Remember\, therefore Jesus Christ Risen from the dead...” \nThe 2024 Junior Olympics will be held May 24-26\, 2024 at SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church and Stagg High School\, Palos Hills\, IL with bowling held at Bowlero in Woodridge\, IL. \nLEARN MORE >>
