On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Archons of Ecumenical Patriarchate in the Metropolis of Chicago held a religious freedom presentation on the five key issues impacting the Ecumenical Patriarchate at St. Elias the Prophet Greek Orthodox Church in Dubuque, Iowa. Keynote speaker Archon Dr. Thomas Williams led the presentation, which took place after services during coffee hour, and included a question-and-answer session where parishioners asked questions about the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the role of the Archons. Print materials from Archon National were also distributed to attendees.

The Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the Metropolis of Chicago would like to thank Rev. Fr. Dr. Adrian Letz, protopresbyter at St. Elias the Prophet Church, and the entire community for hosting the event. The Archons encourage parishes within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that would like to have a religious freedom presentation held at their parish to email the Archon’s National Office at lkats@arochons.org.

The Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate is a devoted group of passionate leaders, relentlessly focused on protecting religious freedom for everyone and ensuring the future of the Ecumenical Patriarchate — the historical spiritual center of the world’s 300+ million Orthodox Christians.
