Ms. Evangeline Patricia Dallas, “Lynn,”, age 54, fell asleep on August 22, 2020. Lynn was raised in Northbrook, IL, by her loving parents, Dr. Spyros Dallas and Ethel Dallas. She attended Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview, IL, where she participated in GOYA and YAL.

After graduating from The Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago, with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, she moved to downtown Chicago and began her 13 year career with The GAP, Inc. She excelled in the fashion industry, going to different states training and inspiring other GAP sales personnel and managers to improve their skills in customer service. She also received many regional sales awards and was recognized for her talent and effort at national corporate conferences.

While living in Chicago, Ms. Dallas became an active steward of Annunciation Cathedral. She taught Sunday School and was an active member in the Cathedral’s Philoptohos chapter and the Daughter’s of Penelope Dione Chapter.

Following a successful and fulfilling experience in the world of fashion, Ms. Dallas changed her career path and joined the staff of the Metropolis of Chicago with the Paternal Blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos. She faithfully worked for the Metropolis for more than 10 years and continued her involvement with the Cathedral, serving on the Parish Council in addition to participating in other church-affiliated groups.

Ms. Dallas spent the last year of her professional life working as a Corporate Assistant for Golub, Inc., a position that she loved at a company that valued her daily positive attitude, kindness and keen sense of humor. But the roles that Lynn Dallas cherished the most were that of “Thea” to her niece and nephews, beloved sister, and human parent to her fur-baby Brutus.

She is mourned by her sister, Deedee Dallas Staikos (husband, Steve) of Cave Creek, AZ; niece, Thalia Rofos (husband Nikolaos) and grandniece Theodora Rofos of San Diego, CA; and nephews Eliot and Spyros Staikos of Phoenix, AZ.

May Her Memory be Eternal.
