When introducing the Vision for Growth at the 2023 Clergy-Laity Assembly, His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanal explained, “Centered in Christ, every one of our relationships take on a new and profound meaning and purpose. The giving and receiving of Christ’s love through our relationships—with our family, with our friends, with our neighbors, with our colleagues, and with our churches—is fundamentally what successful Church life looks like.”
COMMUNITY VOICE: Creating Connections
Throughout the year, community members have shared memories of their participation in Metropolis or parish events, programs and volunteer efforts. These activities embody the Metropolis of Chicago Vision for Growth as people strengthen their relationships to their parishes and larger communities.
