Archon Commander Limberakis and Father Alex Karloutsos Discuss the Athenagoras Human Rights Award and More on CosmosFM’s ‘Matters of Conscience’

 

 

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, National Commander of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and Father Alexander Karloutsos, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and Spiritual Advisor of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, appeared on CosmosFM’s “Matters of Conscience” program with Father Eugene Pappas. In a wide-ranging conversation, Dr. Limberakis and Father Alex discussed the mission and activities if the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate; the reasons why the Athenagoras Human Rights Award was presented to His Beatitude Patriarch Theodore II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa; why the Patriarch of Alexandria is called “Pope”;  the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Christian Church in Crete; the irregular actions of the Moscow Patriarchate regarding that Council and in the Patriarchate of Alexandria today; and much more.
