Fr. Jim Kordaris serves the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as Director of Stewardship, Outreach & Evangelism. Born and raised in Minneapolis, he attended St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church and served there in many capacities, including Parish Council President. After receiving a BA in Psychology and an MBA, he worked in financial services for twelve years. After receiving his Master of Divinity from Holy Cross, he was ordained to the Diaconate in 1998 and the Priesthood in 1999. In 2003, Fr. Jim was appointed Director of the newly formed Department of Outreach & Evangelism, to which Stewardship was added in 2009. In addition to his Archdiocese duties, Fr. Jim served at Saint George on West 54th St. in New York City from 2004 to 2018, and now serves the approximately 100 families at Saint George in Kingston, NY. Fr. Jim is married and they have a teenaged son. Fr. Jim has been instrumental in creating and supporting our Metropolis-wide monthly Tuesday evening Stewardship meetings.
