As the grandson of founding members, Michael Ferretti benefitted from the wonderful examples of strong leaders that were pioneers in our church history. His family has been instrumental in day-to-day operations of our church for over 100 years. Through his professionalism, organizational skills and intelligence, Michael modernized and improved our processes and systems. He catapulted the annual Greek Festival into the future, being among the leaders who were instrumental in taking the festival from a church picnic to the largest ethnic festival in the metro St. Louis area and beyond. Michael is well respected throughout our community and Metropolis. He has served as a representative and secretary of several Metropolis Clergy-Laity conferences. Michael Ferretti is an extremely fair, honest, and humble leader who inspires others with his commitment and passion for his community. He always keeps his love of the Greek Orthodox faith and traditions at the center of his work.
