Add an Event

Please adhere to the following guidelines governing the display and promotion of parish and ministry events on the Metropolis’ website:

  • Work with a graphic professional to ensure high quality of an event flyer. Include an image or photo to help make the event flyer more visually appealing. Make sure the flyer is an appropriate size for display in print-ready PDF format (e.g. 8.5″ x 11″)
  • Include event information that answers the questions “Who,” “What,” “Where,” “When.” Include contact information (i.e., email and phone number) for follow-up questions.
  • Submit your event flyer at least 4 weeks prior to the event date.

All events submitted to the Metropolis of Chicago website are manually reviewed prior to being added to the calendar.  Events will not automatically show up on the calendar – please allow time for our team to receive and view your submission. Submissions are added in the order they are received.
