PARISH SPOTLIGHT: Holy Trinity

On December 20, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church received the Hierarchical dedication and blessing of its new location in Schiller Park. Nearly five years after the foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings of their previous location, the parish has found its new spiritual home. Clergy and lay leaders of the Metropolis of Chicago were present to celebrate with the Holy Trinity parish.

Joining His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael in celebration were His Eminence Cardinal Cupich of the Archdiocese of Chicago, Fr. Robert Schultz of St. Beatrice Catholic Church, Mayor and Village President of Schiller Park Mr. Nick Caiafa, Schiller Park Director of Police Mr. Thomas Fragakis, His Grace Bishop Timothy of Hexamilion, Archdeacon Vasilios Smith, and many community members.
