Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the Metropolis of Chicago
On November 7, 2024, the Honorable Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans installed the 2024-2026 Officers and Board of Directors for the Order of Themis at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago. We are proud to announce that two Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the Metropolis of Chicago will serve as President and Vice President of the organization: Honorable Anthony C. “Tony” Kyriakopoulos as President, and Honorable Jeffery G. Chrones as Vice President, both of whom were founding members of the Order of Themis. Axios!

The oaths of office were administered by the Chief Judge of Cook County, Honorable Timothy C. Evans. The Order of Themis is the first and only Hellenic Judges organization in the country. Its membership includes judges from throughout the United States.
The Order of Themis is comprised of active and retired judges from Federal, State and Administrative courts who are of Hellenic descent or Philhellenes. The national organization encourages its members to promote the ideals and culture of Hellenism, preserve the independence of the judiciary, and respect the rule of law by engaging in the legal profession and communities they serve.
