What is Modern Greek Literature?

Tuesday, October 25, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

While ancient Greek literature has a unique and prominent place in the literary canon, Modern Greek literature is virtually unknown to non-Greek speakers. National Hellenic Museum Resident Scholar Dr. Katie Kelaidis will lead a lively Zoom discussion that will attempt to bridge this gap, highlighting the rich history of Modern Greek literature, including some of its key players and products. This discussion will also explore why we know so little about Modern Greek literature and what we can do to correct that.
