The Clergy Syndesmos consists of the clergy of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago. It is responsible for organizing various clergy retreats throughout the year while also supporting the many ministries of the Metropolis of Chicago.
With representation in the Archdiocesan Council, the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council, the School of Theology, and the Archdiocese Benefits Committee, the brotherhood of the Clergy Syndesmos participates in parish, Metropolis, and Archdiocesan causes for the benefit, edification, and salvation of the clergy.
By assessing and aiding the brothers in their development, the Clergy Syndesmos has a direct impact in the life of the local parish by providing the best possible clergy to meet the variegated and diverse needs of the parish, walking together and leading the faithful towards salvation in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
