Alex Karras is continually working to make Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Sioux City, Iowa, a better place. Whether he is assisting in the altar during weekday liturgies, or being the first volunteer to arrive and last to leave parish events, Alex is always the hardest worker in the parish. As a side note, he is possibly the strongest man that we have ever seen, who is not afraid to get his hands dirty for the church. He never misses a service and strictly adheres to the fasts of the church. Above all, Alex is kind and generous with his resources, including the most valuable resource, his time. We are truly a better community because of Alex, and his leadership example inspires us all.
