The Metropolis of Chicago Clergy Sydnesmos met at the St. Iakovos Retreat center from April 27 – 30 for its annual Clergy Retreat. The theme was “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Speakers included Rev. Fr. Mark Muñoz, Rev. Fr. Dustin Lyon, Rev. Fr. Peter Andronache, Rev. Fr. Timothy Sas and Rev. Dr. Ciprian Sas, Rev. Dr. George Dokos. A hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Chapel of the Life-giving Spring by His Grace Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos with His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos in prayerful attendance. His Eminence Met. Iakovos also led a pastoral round-table discussion with the priests in attendance.
