About the Assembly
The Clergy-Laity Assembly and Philoptochos Convention fosters a collaborative environment where clergy and laity engage in meaningful dialogue, exchange insights, and share best practices. This collective effort enables informed decision-making in support of the Metropolis’ Five-Year Vision—a comprehensive roadmap designed to deepen sacramental life, expand ministries, grow Church membership, and empower clergy and parishes for sustainable growth.
Under the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael, the Clergy-Laity Assembly convenes clergy and lay leaders from across the Metropolis to address, vote and approve significant matters impacting the life, growth, and unity of the Church.

Registration
Registration is required and now open for the 2025 Clergy-Laity Assembly and Philoptochos Convention. To attend, please register no later than Tuesday, November 4, 2025 by clicking the button below.
Registration Types and Fees:
- Clergy & Delegates (includes meals, events and conference materials): $600.00 per person
- Observer (Non-Voting Delegate) With Full Meals and Events: $600.00 per person
- Recognition Reception & Welcome Dinner only (Wednesday evening): $100 per person
Please remember that all parishes are recommended to have four delegates in attendance at the Assembly, comprised of the following: (1) the Parish Priest; (2) the President of the Parish Council, and in his or her absence the Vice President, or in his or her absence any member of the Parish Council designated by it; and (3) at least two members of the Parish elected by the Parish Assembly. For more information, please review the Uniform Parish Regulations.
Important Note to Clergy and Philoptochos Chapter Presidents:
You will need to enter the names, addresses and contact information for your parish delegates (Proistamenoi only); or your Philoptochos Delegates (Philoptochos Chapter Presidents Only). Please have this information readily available to complete your online registration. Your digital signature attests to the fact that your delegates will each also register individually.

The Meridian Banquets is located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, approximately 30 miles northwest of the city of Chicago, and approximately 15 miles from O’Hare airport. The facility serves Chicagoland, specializing in social and business functions. With over 50,000 square feet of space available, their soundproof meeting rooms accommodate a wide range of meetings, presentations and fellowship opportunities.
Accommodations
The Clergy-Laity Assembly has reserved a block of rooms at a special rate at The Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, 1551 Thoreau Dr N, Schaumburg, IL. The special discounted room rate is $169 plus tax, where applicable. The hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from the Meridian. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, October 14, 2025, after which the room block will be released.

Nominations & Forms
Each parish is asked to nominate lay members for the Archdiocesan Council, Metropolis Council, and Metropolis Audit Committee. Please review the Nomination Process Guideline and access the forms below. All required documents and files in their entirety and in the correct format must be received by Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM CST in order for a nominee to be added to the ballot.

Vendors
We are inviting vendors to display and sell items that are of interest to the delegates who will be attending the Assembly. Space is limited and the charge for vendors who will be selling wares is $300 per table.
