This year’s Pan-Orthodox Akathist Service will take place at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 Riverwoods Rd., Lincolnshire, IL on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The Homilist will be Rev. Dr. Perry Hamalis, Cecilia Schneller Mueller Professor of Religion, North Central College.  Ascension will be hosting the Akathist service as part of its 25th Anniversary Commemoration and invites all the faithful to join for prayer followed by Lenten refreshments.
