Demetria has been actively involved in the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society for over 20 years, having served as our chapter’s president, and on the Metropolis Philoptochos board, participating in community educational initiatives, countless fundraising events and philanthropic projects where her wonderful fellowship skills, confidence and leadership truly makes a measurable difference. Her selfless sacrifice to assist countless generations of women to faithfully fulfill the philanthropic mission is a blessing, and she’s always been an absolute joy to work with. Demetria is truly a team player with a variety of skills who always manages to foster positive discussions that bring out the best in others. Never hesitating to ensure success, Demetria may be sitting in a meeting room brainstorming a problem with vision and direction one day, and the next, humbly involved in the Parish kitchen, preparing or serving for our annual Greek Festival or a Ronald McDonald House event to serve the needy.
