As a member of Holy Anargyroi for nearly 30 years, Dr. Halina Woroncow embodies the term servant leader. She gives generously of her treasure but more importantly, gives selflessly of her time through weekly participation in the choir, as a chanter, Sunday school teacher/director of youth programming and more than 10 years of leadership on the Parish Council. Her voice is a blessing to all who hear her chant or sing in the choir. Her involvement with our youth has strengthened our programming through innovative participation in community service, including serving Thanksgiving dinner at a homeless shelter, Christmas caroling at the hospitals and mission trips to Mexico and New Mexico. As Parish Council president she led with strength and dignity during important projects such as growing our Philoxenia Charities outreach and building a new fellowship hall.
