Back to Servant Leadership Award Recipients

Mary Helen Luccas has been a dedicated steward of Kimissis Tis Theotokou in Racine, who was born and raised in our community. She has served in the past as an advisor to Jr. GOYA, choir member, and has filled in as Choir Director as needed. She has also assisted with Chanting the Divine Liturgy services. She worked hard as chairperson of our Holiday Bake Sale. She has served several terms as a Parish Council member and as assistant treasurer.  She works as the chair of the souvlakia booth at our annual Greek Festival, and has also served as one of the general co-chairs of the festival. She has represented our parish at the local Clergy-Laity Congress and was very enthusiastic about serving on the new Strategic Planning Committee of the Metropolis. She is truly a humble and dedicated member of our parish; a leader who always puts others first.
