Metropolitan Nathanael Continues Bestowals of the Bronze Cross in Illinois
Back in early December 2020, His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael began traveling across the Metropolis to bestow the Metropolis Bronze Cross - an award given by the Metropolis to lay stewards who demonstrate excellence in service, leadership and innovation.
During his last visit, His Eminence recognized and blessed Bronze Cross recipients from the Illinois parishes of All Saints (Joliet), Saint Athanasios (Aurora) and SS. Peter and Paul (Glenview). In a separate ceremony, Father Sotirios Dimitriou of Assumption (Homer Glen) assisted the Metropolitan by bestowing the Bronze Cross on Andrew Dimitriou.
