Youth & Young Adults

The Youth & Young Adult Ministries (Y2AM) is the largest and most active ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago. Y2AM helps introduce youth and young adults to Christ and inspires them to live out their relationship with the Lord and His Church on a daily basis. Through a broad range of programs and initiatives, the ministry works to cultivate the next generation of faithful spiritually, culturally and socially. 


Upcoming Y2AM on the Road


Join us for Y2AM on the Road Retreat! It will include two parts on for GOYAns (Middle & High Schoolers) and one for Young Adults (18-35) as follows:

GOYA RETREAT | Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Wauwatosa, WI | 10am-2pm:

  • 10am: Arrival, Registration, Ice Breakers
  • 11am: Session & Activity
  • 12pm: Lunch
  • 1pm: Session & Activity
  • 2pm: Departure

YAL DINNER & DISCUSSION | TBD Milwaukee, WI Restaurant | 7-10pm: Our Milwaukee-area Young Adults are invited to join us for a fun dinner & discussion on the 'Why' of Great Lent.

  • Young Adult League Nationwide Conference Returns to Chicago »

    The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago and Young Adult League Chicago announced today that Chicago is the host of the nationwide Young Adult League (YAL) Conference during President’s Day weekend. This is the first time the YAL Conference will take place since 2007. This year's theme is “Orthodox on Purpose” with speakers to be announced soon.
